Patricia Hanson

Patricia Hanson, MS, LPC, NCC is an Aging Life Care Professional Managing Director and co-owner of IKOR of Western Pennsylvania. Patty supports IKOR clients in an advocacy role leading a team of Highly Skilled Registered Nurse Patient Advocates, Personal Needs Coordinators, Financial Advocates, Life Enhancement Specialist and our concierge team members, to work collaboratively to support Medical, Psychosocial, Environment, Financial and routine living concerns of seniors and individuals with Disabilities.

Patty is a Licensed professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Her education includes a Master of Science in Professional Counseling from Carlow University, a Post Master’s Certificate in Gestalt Psychotherapy and Theory from the Gestalt Institute of Pittsburgh, and a Certificate as a Life Care Planner from Capital University School of Law.

Patty is a passionate advocate for seniors and the disabled. She frequently speaks and facilitates conversations and trainings that bridge the gaps between medical, financial and legal areas. Patty is the current President of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, She is a member Life Options Pittsburgh and serves on the Board of Directors, she is an active member of the Aging Life Care Professional Association, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association, the Association of Daily Money Managers, the American Case Management Association, The Alliance of Professional Health Advocates, and the National Long-Term Care Council.
